I love studing the way light affects an image, how it can change the picture so dramatically and the way the feel of an image can change, depending on the way light, at that split second of time, is captured. Light is so important in helping towards capture the mood of the photo and this is what I love about using it to my advantage in my wedding photography. Light is the photographers best friend - or can be a photographers worse enemy in some scenarios, but that is the challenge and joy of the art of photography.

Wedding days are so full of busyness, emotion, joy and heart felt love that the day can pass your eyes so quickly. My images will capture your wedding story and help you relive those moments to let you experience the colour and motion of the day, giving you a lifetime of visual memories to remember such a special day. "Liz was a true professional when it came to our wedding photos. From the first meeting with her to discuss our thoughts and requirements, to the last meeting where she handed over the photos from our day, she impressed us with her friendly but professional approach.

Liz met with us numerous times, starting with a meeting to discuss requirements, dates, availability, styles etc. I think I was less than helpful at this stage, as having spent most of my life trying to avoid being in front of a camera, I had no idea what style of photography would suit me. Liz guided us through the options and showed us some photos to give us ideas of what could be done.

The next time we met was for our pre-wedding photo shoot. At the time we were both quite anxious about being photos, but Liz was very quick to put us at ease, and although we did pose for the photos, they were not forced. We tried out different ideas, using different 'props' (walls, trees, etc.) to see what worked for us as a couple. This meant that when it came to our big day, we felt a little more comfortable in front of the camera.

On the day, Liz was brilliant. She arrived in plenty of time, and managed to capture different elements of the day, from the room set up before guests arrived, to the groom party arriving at the venue, as well as us girls getting ready. She was not intrusive at all and there are some photos that we look back on now and can't believe that we didn't notice that Liz was there taking photos at the time!

Liz was not familiar with our venue, so even went to look around our venue months before the big day to get an idea of where would be good for photos to be taken on the day.

We were both impressed with both the professionalism that Liz showed, as well as the fabulous photos that she produced for us - thank you very much!!"

"Looking back on our photos it seemed like Liz was everywhere at once as not a single moment of our day was missed.

Everything from group photos to candid shots are exceptional, half the time our guests didn't even know the photographer was there, leading to some great natural moments.

I would advise anyone to take the offer of the pre wedding shoot as this does a great job of making you relax in front of the camera so that no photo's on the big day look forced for unnatural.
